Why I start an English blog?

It is a litte unbelievable, but I’m really writing a post in my English blog!

OK, let me introduce myself first. My name is Snowyy. It pronounces like “snow-yy”. I was born in Guangdong, China. Now I’m an undergraduate student at a university in North China.

I have been blogging for a year and a half. Of course it’s a Chinese blog. The address is www.Snowyy.com. The blog title translated to Enlish is “Not Common Sense”. I benefit a lot from blogging. Now I want to show my blog to people who don’t know Chinese. So I start this blog.

Why does the blog address here have a “tree” behind “snowyy”? In fact, Snowyytree is also my name. You can consider the “tree” as branches of my Chinese blog.

I didn’t feel so poor my Enlish was until I write this post. Only start right now, can I improve my English. If I made some mistakes in words or grammars, please DO LET ME KNOW. Thanks!

Congratulations on starting an English blog. I’m an American English teacher in Zhejiang province, and I found your blog when I did a search about English blogs in China. I want to start an English blog for my students to write in. Good luck with your English blog, I think it’s a good start!

It’s so happy to read your English blog. But my English is poor too, so I read it slowly. On the other hand,it is a good chance for me to learn English.
What a pity! I’m not the first.

Re Joel: I am really surprised that the first commenter here is a foreigner! It is also amazing that such a new website can be found by the search engine.

I don’t know much information about English blogs in China. But I know a blog on learning English. The URL is http://cn.stevenlichen.com/

I think it is a good way to learn English by blogging. Your students are lucky to have such a good teacher!

Thank you for your comment! And it will be my great honor if I can have your advice in the days to come.^_^

Re megong: My dear friend! (It’s odd when I typed these words-_-|||) It is fate that you can’t be the first commenter. Though I made chances to let you to be…

I wished your name to be “Mekong”. You didn’t use it at last. But the “m” shoule be uppercase, anyhow…

I hope that we can improve our English together.^_^

It’s my first time to travel here without our great Chinese.
There’s a story. A guy always travel my cousin’s blog with his “great” English, with many grammar and spelling mistakes.I had told him to care more about that, but fail, with a unfriendly reply: “Hey guy, this is not an eassy. We dont need to care about the regullar grammer and spelling. do you care about the grammer and the correct phrase when you are chatting in the QQ. NO definite no.” Still, many mistakes.
From then on, I hate writting in blogs.
But for your blog,I wouldn’t do it again.
    So,thank you.
    That’s all……….
